My First Tour

Hello everyone !! How are you today? i hope you are healthy and so happy today. Alright, let me introduce mayself, my name is Andi Riswan Mattonang, and my friend usually call me Riswan or Anto, that's funny name right?. I'm student of Tourism Polytechnic of Makassar, the major Tour and Travel Businness Study Program.

This is first time to me to make an blog about Local Culture Diversity Field Trip

In this tour we are visiting tourist attraction in Maros Regency especially Rammang-rammang, includes Ammarrung, Diamond Cave, and Kingkong Cave. In Pangkep, we are visiting Blacksmith, Traditional market and Batari. Alright everyone, swipe up please!!



Day 1, Maros Regency

On Thursday at 7.30 a.m, we are gathered in Orange Building to did absence by our tour leader and got intructions from leicturer. After that, we took picture and prayed together.

At 8.00 a.m, we left the campus and started guiding. During the trip, we paid close attention to the guiding material that was brought while enjoying the view in the way. there are so many a lot of building you can seen in Makassar. From Makassar, we takes about half past hours to go to Maros, especially Rammang-rammang.

At 9.30 a.m, we are arrived in Rammang-rammang, exactly in the first dock in Rammang-rammang.

Before we go to Berua village, we got instruction from our tour leader and advisor. After that we already To go to Berua village, we takes about 20 minutes using a traditional boat ( jolloro )on the Pute river.

all participant using a traditional boat to go to Berua village. during in river, we enjoyed the beautifull Nipah trees and big karst

At 9.55 a.m, we are arrived in Berua village or the famous tourist attraction Rammang-rammang. In Berua Village, we got instruction from our tour leader and advisor before we takes observation. in here we can visited Diamond cave, ammarrung, and kingkong cave.

First we are visited Ammarrung

Ammarrung Stone hills is one tourist attraction in Berua village, this is the best place to take a picture. The meaning of Ammarrung is loud sound or rumble. in Ammarung you can enjoyed stone karst.

After takes observation in Ammarrung we are visited Diamond cave. Diamond cave has founded by Mr.Muslimin. that story he dreamed this cave three time and he also searched this cave and founded Diamond cave. entrance fee Diamond cave is 5000 hundred rupiah.

And the last we are visited Kingkong Cave, why the namely kingkong cave? because on the cave, there are a stone like a face familiar to kingkong.

At 16.30 we return to Makassar and prepare next tour tomorrow.


Day 2, Pangkep regency

we are gathered in orange building at 6.30, to absence and took some picture and prayed together. in this tour we are going to Pangkep regency especially in Blacksmith, traditional market and batari.

first we are visited blacksmith or pandai besi.

The Black smith in Pangkep has been established since 200 years ago. This place has been passed by five generations.

next we are visited Traditional market in Pangkep

In the Traditional Market, there are various type of sales, example fruit, traditional cake and fish. In Traditional Market you can founded a traditional tranportation, the people called that with Delman or bendi. 

And the last we are visited Batari

Batari milk fish thorns is a place to choose milk fish with out thorns,Ratna Mentari' mother. during the 3 years of being fostered by the minestry of research, tcnology, dan higher education of the republic of Indonesia, now Ms. Ratna's milkfish businness has grown in the Biringkassi hamlet, Bulu cindea village, Pangkajene district, South Sulawesi

After that we take picture together and return to Makassar.
